This Quaker meeting house is the Friends of Jesus Fellowship just to the west of Paoli, IN. It is on Hwy 56/150. The meeting house was built sometime in the mid-1800's but an exact date or year was not found.
The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was placed on the list in 1996 as the Newberry Friends Meeting House.
There is a cemetery at the location. There are a few family names that are repeated many times in the cemetery but the name most noticed is Lindley, a name known locally as belonging to the Friends churches in the area.
The building is very simple and plain. It is a plain white sided building no ornation on the building at all. There are a few small windows on the side of the building but special at all about them either.
