Long Description:
The AEGON Center is a skyscraper in downtown Louisville, KY. It was designed by master architect, Philip Johnson. Johnson is a multi-award winner, winning the Pritzker Award (1979 - 1st winner) and the AIA Gold Award (1978).

The Pritzker Award was given for his work called Glass House, which is his own residence.

The AEGON Center was built in 1993 and is the tallest building in the state of Kentucky. It stands at 549 feet. The building was originally called Capital Holding Center. What makes this building stand apart from others in the Louisville area is the 80 feet tall domed top that it has.
