Long Description:
The Gerrard's Private Railway Hotel was built in 1896 and is listed as a Category I building on the Heritage Register. The building is on the site of a previous wooden hotel. The building was designed by architects McKenzie and Gilbertson in an Edwardian Free style commercial architecture with Queen Anne style decorations. The building was added to in 1910. The building appears to be in very good condition.
