Long Description:
This stone chapel was built in 1935 on the shore of Lake Tekapo. It attracts many visitors. It is unusual as the there is a large window giving stunning views through the chapel to the lake and the mountains. The chapel is very popular as a wedding site due to the scenic location and photo opportunities.
