Long Description:
I was walking in Old Montreal, on rue Francois Xavier near rue Saint Sacrement and was fascinated by the wall of a building. In that wall are preserved layers of architecture. You can see evidence of an old stone building that was later incorporated into a brick house and then later both buildings were incorporated into a more modern brick building. There is a parking lot now where the interiors of these buildings once were, but the walls have been preserved.
