Long Description:
It's behind the water tower, just north of the fire station, and barely visible from the street. In 1912, before Tom Mix became a huge silent movie star, he was the Dewey Town Marshal.

It was in this former jail that he housed those he arrested. The concrete walls still stand, or mostly stand. Part of the roof is missing and cables go around and through the iron bars which are still visible. The weeds are grown up around it and trashed dumped nearby, but what remains is an important part of small town history and lore.
