Long Description:
This museum is worth the visit. Great exhibits beginning with a movie about the history of the county. Importance is placed on the canals followed by the railroads. The upper level floor has a great map of the former railroads and shows how some have been converted to bike trails. All communities (both past and present) are represented. Homage was paid to the first amusement park in Indiana--and there is no other trace of it. Be careful of the bag of rattle snakes when exploring the building of the railroads!
Theme: Primarily cultural, although some natural history is explained as well.
