Long Description:
This is an isolated beach despite its proximity to Dolphin Point & Ulladulla. There are no facilities, no surf life savers & the parking area is someway off requiring a walk through the bush.
That said it is a beautiful beach with golden sands & near perfect waves on crystal clear waters. Even on a mid Summer's day you might have it all to yourself. Nude bathing is not allowed but topless bathing is common on most Australian beaches. Surfing, sunbathing, walking & playing with your dog are popular. There are no fees & you need to bring your own drinks, food etc.
The beach is backed by high dunes. At this end the beach terminates against a cliff whilst to the south it abuts the entrance to Lake Tabourie.
I took the co-ordinates at the end of the path leading from the carpark. Access to the carpark is via a gravel road which is suitable for conventional vehicles.
