Long Description:
Sassafras is a rural locality only. This state survey marker is a yellow steel marker with SURVEY on the lid. The number is on a plate under the lid. The usual steel plug the surveyor uses in this case is a three pointed star. The marker is in high grass & to ensure surveyors can locate it, it is surrounded by three red & white star pickets. An attractive location in the bush with a geocache a few metres away.
