Long Description:
"Or, a Tower masoned embateled Sable issuant from a mount Gules." (Flags of the world)

The flag shows the former tower on "Heidenbüchel", a barrow that is Zunzgen's landmark. There was a tower on it in the 9th and 10th century, but it was completely destroyed without remnants (Some old local myths say it is the grave of Attila the Hun). The colors of the flag are a reference to the house of Habsburg who were the owners of this area in the 12th century.
