Long Description:
Surf Beach is Kiama's main surfing beach surrounded by parkland and central to Kiama's main shopping district. Patrolled in summer on weekends from the long weekend in October through to Easter. Plenty of accessible carparking, toilets, barbecue facilities, picnic tables and changing sheds. Accessed off Manning St, Kiama.
Being a local I can confirm that the beach is more used for swimming and sunbathing than for surfing (real surfers have way better possibilities in the closer area!!)Strangely there is no sign wich actually mentioned the name surf beach, therefore I added a picture with the name of the attached park.
