Long Description:
I discovered this location while poking around on a USGS topographic map. It is labeled "Fairfield Grange" on the map, but is obviously abandoned, with broken windows, power and phone lines down, and a sign out front that says "works free". The state grange office confirmed that this grange is no longer active, but had no other info, including the chapter number.
Edit 6/25/09: I received a while back an email from someone who claims that this grange is active. I will investigate.
Edit 3/5/10: This place has been tidied up, and looks a lot better. It now has an identifying sign, and the portable sign now gives a phone number for rental. I'm happy to say things are looking a lot better here. I have updated the pertinent details.
