Memorial Plaza with flagpoles and monuments dedicated to West Sacramento veterans of who served in war starting with the Spanish American war up to and through Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Plaza and memorials overlook the Sacramento River and downtown Sacramento, California. Riverside Park is just to the East of the Pyramidal Ziggurat Building on the west bank of the Sacramento River. The nearest intersection is 2nd and F Streets, West Sacramento, California. Old town Sacramento and the Sacramento Railroad Museum are located directly across the river.
