Long Description:
This school was built in 1838 as District School #5 in the town of Geneseo. It was used a a district school for nearly a century. It is one of a few remaining examples of cobblestone contruction in Livingston County. The original building was designed in the shape of a Greek cross. Since that time, additions have been added. In 1932 the school became the Livingston County Historical Museum. Please see website for days and times the museum is open.
