Shifting Gears is a joint venture between Pedal Power Bike Shop and Kentucky Refugee Ministries. Our goal is to provide reliable, free transportation to new members of our community arriving from various war torn parts of our planet. Bikes can be donated at Pedal Power for a tax receipt.

We have donated our time and expertsie to get the Yellow Bikes concept of the ground.This community-sponsored, all volunteer program is dedicated to providing human powered transportation to residents, workers and visitors in and around downtown Lexington.
