Simulacra are inanimate objects - usually stones, rock walls, old tree trunks, plants, patches of peeling paint, rust spots, and so on that have uncanny resemblances to inanimate things. Often tricks of light and shadow make these objects fleeting, and hard to see again.
Expanded Description:
The waymarks that should go in here are those that, as descibed above, are natural occuring objects that have an uncanny resemlance to People, animals and other things. These may be mountain ranges, tree trunks, or stone pillars.

Waymark the simulacra. Consider yourself free to invent new possibilities. Introduce interpretive dance into an office wall -- because you can. Discover a subtle melody within an industrial building because it's there. We're surrounded by simulacra. It should be straight-forward, then, to comprehend reality to be yet another creation. Being a simulacrum, there is value in this realm. This might just be only a slice or rendition of something else. It is not hard to draw from these listings how easily stories of Giants,an Ogres,Golems arose in history. Fairy, and wood elfs etc appear in many stories, and probably also come form the uncanny lifelike faces that can be seen in trees and moss covered stones in the forrests of the world. Eveyone knows of one,or more in thier local area, so why not grab a photograph of it,and place it here for aothers to see.

Instructions for Posting a Simulacra Waymark:
Just get the best qualty image you can, and record the waymarks location from your GPS. Also include any local information or signs about the object . Items must be Permanent, and able to be visited by others. Either on public display or in nature.
Whilst some simulacra get enhanced by humans, with a little paint or colour, items that are obviously manufactured from stone and wood ,by carving or otherwise re-shaping will not be accepted.

This old Tulip Tree appears to be an old gnarled troll guarding the footbridge going over a small creek at the west end of the Nature Trail.
