Solar power is the use of energy from the sun, often as an alternative to other forms of energy. Solar power is considered a clean and renewable energy source as it does not deplete a limited fuel supply, nor emits any byproducts. Some applications of solar power are: heat, electricity, transportation, lighting, water desalination, and even photosynthesis in plants. See Wikipedia for more information.
Any location that solar power is converted to heat, electrical, or other use as an alternative energy form can be submitted here. Some examples are: homes, businesses, permanent signs, power stations/farms (both thermal and electrical).
Greenhouses, yard ornaments, and other non-permanent locations are discouraged. Please contact the management group if there is a question concerning a particular location.
