Bimmah Sinkhole
Geologists say this 40 meter wide, 20 meter deep water-hole was created when a limestone cavern collapsed, but the locals say a piece of the moon fell from the sky and made the hole.

Wupatki Pueblo Blowhole
This location is behind the Wupatki National Monument Visitor Center. A paved trail leads through the Wupatki Pueblo and down to the blowhole. Wheelchair accessable, but there are some relatively steep sections.

Imperial Valley Mudpots
These mud pots and volcanoes are located in an open field on the eastern side of the Salton Sea. The mud is just above ambient temperature and you can walk right up to the vents.

Gipslöcher Nature Preserve - Lechtal
The Gipslöcher or "Gypsum holes" are a geological formation of deep holes in a soft Gypsum rock layer near the alpine resort town of Lech. It is a Nature Preserve and has several species of orchid and other special flora.

Rainier Fork, American River - Chinook Pass, Washington
This river valley in the Cascade Mountains near Mt. Rainier shows the typical U-shaped valley that is left behind as a glacier retreats. This valley was created during the Pleistacene Ice Age about 2 million years ago.
