To locate and submit interesting ground access covers with unusual other than mass produced patterns or designs.
Expanded Description:
Originally manhole covers were designed for early sailing ships to gain access to storage compartments below deck. Not until the advent of underground drainage systems were these seen anywhere on land. Today they can be found to gain access to catch basins, sewers, electrical ducts or water piping. Many innovative designs gave sprung up over the years to advertise, to please the customer or just for extra decorative coverings to various underground facilities.


Post the name of the cover, the stamping reference or just a street name with the location in your title.
Post a clear readable close-up photo of the cover and one from farther away area photo.
