Description:: This category is for restaurants that offer safe and savory Gluten Free fare. It benefits those who are gluten intolerant or have Celiac Disease, so they do not have to go hungry when they visit a restaurant with friends and family.

Expanded Description:

This group is looking for restaurants that make an effort to offer Gluten Free and good tasting meals. Restaurants claiming to offer gluten free but in reality offer only a plain dry salad or a despairingly seasonless slice of meat are not welcome to be listed here.

(1) Generally, restaurants with websites with posted gluten free menus or in house gluten free menus that list more then one or two items are indeed making an effort and are welcome to be listed here. (2) Also restaurants with highly trained staff who make the meal safe for allergy foodies are also welcome. (3) Restaurants that are sought out for this group have both of these qualities.

Instructions for Posting a Gluten Free Restaurants Waymark:

List restaurants that are recommended for a gluten intolerant person.
It should have a (1) a respectable gluten free menu, (2) highly trained allergy staff and safety procedures, or (3) both 1 and 2.

Fast food restaurants are often a recipe for disaster for the allergy sufferer. From cheap food to cheap staffing even non allergy sufferers risk personal comfort. However, if you visited one that did a particularly good with gluten free support feel free to list it here.

Please do not bulk list restaurant chains. List only restaurants you have personally visited and you believe can deliver a good gluten free meal that is both allergy safe and not disappointing to consume.
