Long Description:
The "2 1/2 BLOCKS W OF COURTHOUSE" reference is going to send you in the wrong direction, and it should say "SW" instead. The "W MAIN STREET" reference is what you want, and the bridge and the benchmark are in very good condition As of this posting, there is an empty store just east of the bridge, on the north side of the road.

DESCRIBED BY LOCAL SURVEYOR (INDIVIDUAL OR FIRM) 1934 IN CLARKSVILLE. DISK IS SET HORIZONTALLY IN N CONCRETE WINGWALL OF E ABUTMENT OF CONCRETE BRIDGE OVER DELAWARE CREEK ON W MAIN STREET. 2 1/2 BLOCKS W OF COURTHOUSE. THIS WAS SET BY THE CITY ENGINEER.
