Long Description:
La vieille caserne de pompiers 216, boulevard Sainte-Rose. Laval H7L 1L6

The old fire station 216, boulevard Sainte-Rose. Laval H7L 1L6
In 1930, a fire station is attached to the old school. The tower that overlooks used to hang fire hoses to dry them without damaging the folding. The presence of the fire station in the village is a sign of the increasing population of Sainte-Rose and the need to give people adequate municipal utilities. All built of red brick with its door for ease of input and output of the fire department truck. Its tower is easily observable and walked out of action a little further on the left.

There is a reorganization of services following the merger of the Laval Cities. The barracks becomes free for other public services.
Thus was born the idea of a Art Gallery which gear on Sainte-Rose Street. Rose-Art Corporation has since then a prestigious venues put at its disposal by the city of Laval. The gallery is a venue works of artists, painters and sculptors of all stripes. On Saturdays and Sundays there is animation, and demonstration by members.
