Long Description:
In the spring and summer months the park is turned into an amusement park with many rides and attractions, from this ferris wheel to a small roller coaster. There is also a historic carousel, now a National Historic Place. The park was built in the 1970s as part of the 1974 World's Fair. The summer amusement park is a legacy of Expo '74.
