Long Description:
This is another of a series of beaches located in the Southwest coast of Portugal, a bit of the coast generally known as Costa Vicentina. In this region, I believe, the most remote and wild beaches of Europe can be found. Not so good for a swim, excellent though for relaxing and feel the almighty power of the Atlantic Ocean.

Praia do Canal is one of them. To get there one must drive for about 5 km in a dirt road in bad shape. Then, it's a matter of park (the provided coordinates are from a good place for parking) and start descending. Much better if the tide is low. Otherwise no sand will be available.
Type of beach: Natural

Location of beach: Seashore

Beach surface type: Pebbles
