This Memorial lists the names of the Crew members of Wellington bomber MF 458 'A' of the 40th squadron of the Royal Air Force which was shot down 5th October 1944. The names are

Pilot Officer Arthur Leslie Mayers (Pilot)
Flight Sergeant Vallance McCall (Navigator)
Warrant Officer Charles Herbert Gunby (Wireless Operator)
Sergeant Harry Walker Hesketh (Bomb Aimer)
Sergeant Robert Cummin Ropson Johnson (Air Gunner)
