Long Description:
This historic cemetery contains the final resting places of about a dozen famous Delawareans. In total, there are approximately 900 marked graves. There is also a cenotaph for Declaration of Independence signer Caesar Rodney; the actual location of Rodney's remains is a mystery. The oldest burial is that of Sea Captain Thomas Benson from 1748.

The cemetery lies within the grounds of the historic Christ Episcopal Church in the heart of Dover, Delaware's "The Green" historic district.
