Long Description:
The plaque says, "Jeanne Beauprey Reeves, a member of the U.S. Women's Volleyball Team that captured the silver medal at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games, attended Linda Vista Elementary School, La Paz Intermediate School, and Mission Viejo High School. At Mission Viejo High School, Beauprey Reeves earned All-American honors in volleyball and graduates in 1983 with a degree in sociology. Upon graduating, she served as a UCLA assistance coach in women's volleyball for five years; during this tenure, the UCLA team won NCAA championships. Beauprey Reeves also served as the U.S. Olympic Volleyball Team assistant coach at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. In 1999, Beauprey Reeves was inducted into the Saddleback Valley Unified Shoo District Hall of Fame for extraordinary accomplishments in athletics."
