Long Description:
This speeder was manufactured by Fairmont Railway Motors Ltd. in Toronto ON. It is belt driven and has a single cylinder, water cooled engine of approx 6-8 hp. The name plate indicates that this speeder is a Class M - Series 19 - Group H model. All the other railway equipment on display there is from CN, so this may have been from Canadian National, as well - especially given that it is painted in a bright orange CN colour. It is assumed that Fairmont Railway Motors Ltd. of Toronto, ON is a Canadian subsidiary of Fairmont Railway Motors Inc., of Fairmont, Minnesota.

The speeder is immediately in front of a CNR caboose at the front of the the Anthony Henday Museum on the south side of 20th Street at 25th Avenue. The museum is well worth seeing, especially for train buffs, as it has this speeder, an old wooden water tower, a CNR caboose, the old Delburne Station, a century old school house and more...
