Long Description:
it is now an urban recreation area, passing below three underpasses and in sound of Interstate 80. Dog walkers enjoy the area.
Bridges are gated and closed during high water.
It is a no fee area. Also, no restroom facilities. Carry water.
One may turn back whenever. The Maidu grinding rocks are almost 2 miles in. There are several places where the trails branch but they are signed.
