Farum Internationale Skulpturpark blev etableret i sommeren 1999, da otte kunstnere fra forskellige lande omdannede store stenblokke i marmor og granit til de skulpturer, du i dag kan se i parken.

De otte skulpturer i parken er:

  • "The Cloud" af Yaël Artsi, Israel.
  • "Meditative Place" af Jun-Ichi Inoue, Japan.
  • "Clair de Lune" af Nicolas Bertoux, Frankrig.
  • "Earth Weaving" af Tetsuo Harada, Japan.
  • "Vandvogteren" af Jesper Neergaard, Danmark.
  • "Bulls" af Kemal Tufan, Tyrkiet.
  • "Playful Waves" af Cynthia Sah, Hong Kong.
  • "Se ind i lyset" af Pål Svensson, Sverige.

De otte skulptørers arbejde i parken tiltrak mange besøgende i den måned, de arbejdede med skulpturerne, og i ét af parkens hjørner rejstes derfor et udstillingstelt, hvor nysgerrige kunne følge med i skulpturernes tilbliven.

Søndag den 29. august 1999 var der fernisering med fest, farver og musik.

Farum International Sculpture Park was established in the summer of 1999, when eight artists from different countries transformed large stone blocks in marble and granite into the sculptures, you can see in the park today.

The eight sculptures in the park are:

  • "The Cloud" by Yaël Artsi, Israel.
  • "Meditative Place" by Jun-Ichi Inoue, Japan.
  • "Clair de Lune" by Nicolas Bertoux, France.
  • "Earth Weaving" by Tetsuo Harada, Japan.
  • "Vandvogteren" by Jesper Neergaard, Denmark.
  • "Bulls" by Kemal Tufan, Turkey.
  • "Playful Waves" by Cynthia Sah, Hong Kong.
  • "Look into the light" by Pål Svensson, Sweden.

The eight sculptors working in the park attracted many visitors during the month, they worked with their sculptures, and in one of the park's corners a large exhibition tent was raised where curious people were able to follow the sculptures coming into shape.

On Sunday August 29, 1999 a festive opening was held with many visitors and music.
