Long Description:
The memorial swimming pool was opened in 1957 to honor the veterans of World War I and World War II.  The plaque is located on a gate post and can viewed from the walkway along the street. It is located near the bowling greens and across the street from the Catholic Church.  The World War II memorial plaque is inscribed:
