Long Description:
Penrith Station is on the West Coast Rail Line. Express trains still thunder through.
Mail trains would collect onward mail without stopping, and Penrith was reputedly the last place this occurred.

on the platform near the booking office.

Condition of the box: Good/Average/Poor: very good

Is this post box still in use?: Monday - Friday 5.30 pm Saturday 12.15 pm
