This is a monument dedicated to the ferrymen located in Speyer, Germany, Rheinland-Pfalz. It is located in the park 'Domgarten' nearby to the famous cathedral of Speyer.

The figure is life-sized.

The sculpture was created by Georg Günther Zeuner in 1987. It consists of bronze. There's a plaque with details.

It is accessable to the public at all times.

It shows a feeryman with a big hat and a paddle.
The Fährmann (ferryman) is a figure of an old local saga where the ferryman is called by the dead German emperors to take them over the Rhine river.
