The garden is in a section of the zoo that shows backyard critters. A sign at the site reads:

"Who lives in backyard habitats?
Monarch Butterflies.

What do monarch butterflies like to drink?

Nectar from flowers. When they do this they pick up pollen from one flower and take it to another flower. This helps plants grow, produce more flowers, fruits and nuts.

What are some of monarch butterflies favorite flowers?

Azazleas, goldenrods, zinnias, milkweed, and sage are some of their favorite flowers. Plant a few of these in your garden and see how many monarch butterfies come and visit.
