The post box is situated on the footpath next to the bust Upper Thames Street just to the west of Cannon Street railway station. There is a little park, just to the north of the post box, that has seating.

Condition of the box: Good/Average/Poor: Fair

Is this post box still in use?: Yes. Collection Mon-Fri 6.30pm and Sat 12 noon.

Is VR embossed on the post box or is it an "anonymous" box?: Yes

Any other embossed lettering, such as manufacturer?: Yes - on base.
