Long Description:
It is in a small public grass area just off the main road through the village of Addingham.

He was the Vice Chairman of the parish council at the time of his death, and cost of the tree was shared by the parish council and a local charitable trust.

In future years the tree will be used as Addingham’s Christmas tree.

The wording on the plaque is
