This category is a place to waymark unique and unusual steeples. Interesting architecture, out of the ordinary designs, very tall steeples - these are the type of structures to place here.
Expanded Description:

Waymarks in this category are intended for true steeples (e.g. church, cathedral), or buildings that have steeple shapes incorporated in them. We are not looking for small steeples, but rather steeples that are over 20 feet in height

These steeples should have unique elements - mutliple tiers, non-traditional architecture, unusual shape or height, etc.

These waymarks should be of interest, worth the visit to that location. Things you would not want to list: a small steeple shape at the top of a motel, a small steeple shape on a park pavillion, etc.

We will only allow steeples that meet the 20 foot height rule. The other criteria is very subjective, but you should ask yourself "Is this steeple unique enough to make it worth visiting?

Instructions for Posting a Unique Steeples Waymark:

When posting a waymark, include a photograph of the location, without a GPSr in the shot, with as accurate coordinates as possible. Being that the steeple is atop a building, and you cannot get acurate coordinates for it, you can mark the entrance to the building.

If it would be easier to see the steeple from a distance, you can take a picture from a distant location, but still try to get accurate coordinates for the actual location. If you are not allowed close to the steeple or building entrance, you can post coordinates at a location that gives the best viewing of the steeple.

Instructions for Visiting a Waymark in this Category:

When visiting the location, please try to take a picture with your GPSr if you are alone, or with members of your party in the shot. Also, please describe your visit/adventures so others will know what to expect when they get there. Please describe what makes the steeple unique or interesting.
