Description:
Find a hollow or natural passage under or into the earth and mark the entrance or opening. Please be aware that cave exploring is an inherently dangerous activity that, like rock climbing, is made safer by the use of proper equipment and knowledge. To learn more about responsible, safe, and environmentally friendly caving, this group encourages you to seek out a local cavers' club for a good introduction to the sport.

Cave Entrances (Natural)Weta Cave — Forest Hill Scenic Reserve, New Zealand

in Cave Entrances (Natural)

This small cave — 30 metres deep, 1 metre high — has a seasonal stream that runs its length. Due to human activity, it has now been closed for people to travel through to help preserve the features inside it.
