This collection of giant dinosaurs was constructed by the WPA in 1936 to draw tourists into the city of Rapid City while Mt. Rushmore was being created. It is one of the odder jobs that the WPA completed.

The Jolly Green Giant is a 55 foot tall fiberglass monstrosity that was built by the town of Blue Earth as a tourist attraction. Too bad that Walmart now blocks the view of him from the freeway.
